How to Set Up Gold Foil & Spot UV

1. The CMYK File

Contains your standard printed design (colors, images, text).

2. The Mask File

Separate file where Foil/UV areas are 100% Black (K:100). Everything else is White.

Note: Avoid small text or very thin lines (less than 1pt) for foil, as they may not "take" to the paper correctly.

5. FAQ: Quick Troubleshooting

Digital screens use "backlit" light, which makes colors look more vibrant. Physical ink on paper reflects "ambient" light. Minor variations in brightness are an industry standard.
We cannot "un-pixelate" a low-res image. However, you can hire us for Vectorization ($45) to recreate your logo in high resolution.
To keep our prices low, we operate as a shipping-only model. However, shipping within Brampton and the GTA is extremely fast!
